The following are the main points of the Terms and Conditions under which the Company, Americanway Limousines - hereinafter referred to as Away Limos - will do business. The full Terms & Conditions are available on request - please contact us.

General

Cancellations:
If you cancel your booking within 14 days of the booking 50% of the charge is payable. If you cancel within 4 days of the booking 100% is payable.

All deposits are non-refundable.

The price you have been quoted is for one Pick Up and one Drop Off unless otherwise stated by these Terms & Conditions. Any and all subsequent and additional Pick Ups and Drop Offs will be charged at the rate of £10.00 per person - this fee is to be paid to the driver.

Your time runs from the time that the limousine arrives at your requested pick up address to the set down address. If any additional time is required, this must be prepaid at a rate of £15 per 15 minutes or part thereof.

The above charges will be made in the case of customers (or their guests) who arrive late to the vehicle, and for additional Pick Ups and Drop Offs, to cover subsequent bookings of the limousine for job requiring driving time.

All outstanding monies must be paid to the driver on arrival of the vehicle. Failure to do this will result in the driver refusing entry to the vehicle.

The driver has no authority to negotiate a discount whatsoever.

The Company reserves the right to cancel any booking due to circumstances beyond the company's control. This includes bad weather, poor traffic, and mechanical breakdown. If such a situation occurs, Away Limos are not responsible for any further cost other than a credit that Away Limos have taken ie. a deposit.

Whilst we will make every effort to pick up and set down at the requested address, please be aware that this may not always be possible due to factors such as the length of the vehicle, surface conditions, private property laws or road traffic laws and regulations.

Although Away Limos have a continually evolving and growing 'road knowledge', please be aware that the driver may not know every location in your area or be familiar with the area where you are to be dropped off. Therefore, we would ask that the customer be prepared to provide guidance to the driver - please bear in mind the physical size of the vehicle if you are asked for guidance.

For events such as Racing days, it is the responsibility of the hirer to provide parking vouchers if you require the limousine to stay with you at the races.

Punctuality

If you are not at the chosen pick up point(s) at the agreed time(s), the driver will only wait for 20 minutes unless prior arrangements have been made with your driver.

A grace period shall be established for late arrival of your limousine due to weather, accident, breakdown or traffic conditions (your time will then be made up).

In an event that the vehicle cannot get to you in time for your event and the customers choose to arrange for other transportation then Away Limos are in no way liable for any further cost that may occur and no compensation will be given.

When we plan and accept your trip we take into account many factors before agreeing with your time. Please be punctual as a few minutes late can have a large effect on other events during that day.

We ask the customer to be patient whilst waiting for limousines on late arrivals as sometimes traffic and other conditions beyond our control can delay us. Where possible this will be made up at the end of the journey. Please note that this does not entitle you to any discount.

Behaviour

There is no smoking or eating permitted in the vehicle (if you choose to do so, right of access will be refused). Red Wine is not allowed to be consumed in the vehicle.

The hirer is responsible for their guest(s) and should be aware that we do reserve the right to eject any persons for any of the following:

  • For smoking and the consumption of food in the vehicle.
  • For abusive or threatening behaviour towards the driver or public bystanders (abusive or threatening behaviour is an Offence Against the Person) - if any such behaviour occurs, the trip will be terminated with the Police being requested to attend
  • For being, or appearing to be, under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • For possession of any illegal weapons or substances

If any person is sick in the limousine the vehicle will be stopped and that person will be requested to pay £100 for the valeting of the vehicle before the trip will continue.

Any persons seen to cause damage to the limousine will be charged accordingly and will be driven to the nearest Police station without warning from the driver.

Personal
Belongings

If articles are left in the vehicle, the Company or driver are in no way liable for the loss or damage of these articles.

The client assumes full responsibility for all articles that may be damaged whilst getting in and out of the vehicle.
